Vinny Del Negro believes he will be back with the Los Angeles Clippers next season.
"No, my future is great," Del Negro said, when asked if his future with the Clippers is tied to how far the team advances in the playoffs. "I got a great future no matter what. I've been pretty fortunate, so I don't worry about that stuff so much. All those things take care of themselves. Wherever we finish, we're going to be prepared, we're going to be organized and we're going to play hard."
Del Negro’s contract expires at the end of this season.
"I enjoy the pressure," Del Negro said. "That's what it's about. I love the competition. Could things be a little better in certain areas? Of course. All those things get answered by the end of the year. Our focus is on tonight's game and on this season and all those things will get answered at the end, one way or another."
