The Boston Celtics will not have Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce for Friday night's game against the Miami Heat.
Both players are nursing ankle injuries.
Garnett sat out eight games because of left ankle inflammation before playing the past two contests.
Pierce has missed two games recently because of sore ankles.
