Mike Dunlap did not have anywhere near the best credentials when he was hired...he was bound to serve as an assistant coach at St. John's if he wasn't hired as head coach of the Bobcats. I feel for him. I think Michael Jordan basically gave Dunlap a "prove-it" year, seeing if he could make a surprise splash. It predictably didn't work out, and now he's gone. The team has some salary cap space to make use of this off-season, which could entice some higher profile coaches to come to Charlotte and give them a better chance to succeed this coming season.

Jordan should coach too. Then fire himself after going 7-75. Maybe Phil Jackson would be interested; I heard he passed on Cleveland. lol

Has there ever been a worst of evaluator of talent for both players and front office staff than Michael Jordan? He really is as unique an owner as he was a player - just in the opposite direction.
