Brian Shaw will interview with the Los Angeles Clippers for their head coaching vacancy as soon as Monday.
Shaw and George Karl are the Clippers top two choices.
The Clippers spoke with Lionel Hollins on Thursday and he remains a candidate.
Karl was relieved of his duties as head coach of the Denver Nuggets on Thursday. The Clippers had been monitoring the situation and had preliminary conversations about asking permission to interview Karl.
Byron Scott and Alvin Gentry are also considered candidates.
