Shawne Williams is scheduled to work out for the New York Knicks on Monday, according to a source.
Williams played for the Knicks during the 2010-11 season, and excelled as an outside shooter and versatile defender.
“Shawne loved his time there,’’ his agent, Happy Walters said. “He’ll be the first to tell you. But it is also about where he’d get playing time.’’
Williams, who has a 5.7 scoring and 40.7 shooting average after five seasons in the league, is also drawing interest from the Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Clippers.
The Lakers have also scheduled a work out with Williams.
