I'm happy for Shaw but am not so sure about Denver. There is no way that the Nuggets will finish 3rd in the West so there will be pressure on him... (regression phenomenon in sports). It is a tough situation for a rookie coach. He may have to reach the 2nd round to guarantee to keep his job.

Hopefully Shaw can have as much success developing young talent as he reputedly has in his previous stops. I think that winning a (two?) playoff series will determine whether his season will be viewed as a success.
