The New Orleans Pelicans are making Eric Gordon "very available" in trade talks, according to a source.

Gordon signed a four-year, $58 million deal with the Phoenix Suns last offseason that was matched by the Pelicans.

Bryan Colangelo isn't the GM of the Pelicans..

Suns can't trade him till after the draft, but I'd do Marshall/Beasley (expiring)/#5 for Gordon/Andersen in a heartbeat. Gordon's value is pretty low atm but I would love to give him a shot on the Suns.

Dragic/Gordon/Dudley/Andersen/Gortat (Brown/Tucker/Scola off the bench).

NO gets to take 2 top 5 prospects in this draft, likely Burke + Oladipo.

Burke/Oladipo/(Aminu)/Davis/Lopez

Suns fans no longer want him. He's injury prone and we're rebuilding now. I'd like to think the new front office feels the same way.

Gordon for Granger/Green(or draft pick)?

Gordon off the bench, and plays in 4th,in place of Stephenson? Gordon can play as their backup PG, kinda like Ginobli does.

suns, no doubt.

they wanted to drop paper on those damaged goods last year. said goods wanted to be there. they're perfect for each other.

The Suns have a lot of different faces in the front office this year, though. Chances are they're more interested in removing the current mistakes of the past that still hinder the team. I doubt McDonough makes a play for Gordon. And if so, it definitely won't involve giving up the 5th pick in the draft.

Pay for his entire stupidly large contract then we have a talking point.

I don't think it was expected to be as bad as he was last season. With Phoenix in rebuild mode, there's no reason to take on a bad contract just to move back to mediocrity.

i agree with the bold part 100%. and the suns will rise again.

but eric gordon hasn't been able to stay on a basketball court for some time now. always a risk on fantasy draft day, same for teams looking to drop paper at contract time. i'd say your guys dodged a bullet.
