Several Former Huskies Receive $15k Fines For Playing In Alumni Game

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Wed Jul 3, 2013 6:34 am

The NBA has fined several players $15,000 apiece for participating in an unsanctioned alumni game of former University of Washington players.

The game was held on June 23 at Alaska Airlines Arena in Seattle.

Spencer Hawes, Quincy Pondexter, Tony Wroten and Isaiah Thomas have received fines.

It is unclear if Nate Robinson and Terrence Ross will be subject to fines.

The NBA's collective bargaining agreement does not allow players to participate in public offseason games before July 1 or after September 15 without approval.

On the bright side for them, fines are probably chump change to these guys .
