Kings, Pelicans, Blazers Discuss Evans, Vasquez, Lopez Deal

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Thu Jul 4, 2013 4:17 pm

The Sacramento Kings, New Orleans Pelicans and Portland Trail Blazers are having discussions on a sign-and-trade involving Tyreke Evans.

The Pelicans would acquire a newly signed Evans while Greivis Vasquez would be sent to the Kings and Robin Lopez moved to the Blazers.

Portland will send over draft bust Meyers Leonard and a bag of greg oden's dirty laundry. Trailblazers are so desperate for a center, that they will take gambles on anyone. They should have traded up with Toronto in the 2012 draft moved from 11th to 8th and got drummond. Raptors still would have gotten terrence ross cause the 9th and 10th picks probably would have been John Henson and Austin Rivers. What was Neil Olshey doing in the draft room. Since he drafted lillard it seems the media overshadows the fact that leonard is a huge bust. He wasn't even in Stotts rotations towards the end of the season. A core of Lillard, Batum, Aldridge and Drummond could have made noise in last year's playoffs and in the future.

Why would the Kings want to have another PG who plays no Defense??

I also questioned the Myers Leonard pick. Don't see it in him. But he had a great dunk last year IIRC. But I wouldn't call him a bust just yet.

Portland may have wanted Toronto's 8th but Raptors wanted Portland's 6th pick not the 11th pick.

Kings management love Guards like that, just like how Knicks management like injury prone, over paid forwards.

Can you find me the article or link where the blazers in the 2012 NBA Draft could have traded with the raptors to move from 8th to 11th to draft Andre Drummond.
