Hawks, Bucks Discussing Jennings For Teague Sign-And-Trades

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon Jul 8, 2013 12:35 pm

The Atlanta Hawks and Milwaukee Bucks have held discussions in recent days involving sign-and-trades of Brandon Jennings for Jeff Teague.

Larry Drew, formerly head coach of the Hawks and now with the Bucks, would like to acquire Teague.

The Hawks would have to give up their pursuit of Monta Ellis knowing that the backcourt pairing has already failed to yield positive results.

LOL Atlanta couldn't be this stupid could they.

Jennings or Ellis... pick your poison. Just as ball hungry as each other. The problem wasn't them being paired together the problem.... the common denominator is they've been the reason for their sides (Bucks and Warriors) inability to win prior to them teaming up.

Go on Atlanta... do it for the **** and giggles  I can't see Jennings being happy going there long term... he thinks he is a New York/LA kind of talent.

East is week after Chi, Mia, NYK, Bkn, and Indy.... next 3 spots are wide open. A Horford/Jennings led Hawks likely get in.

I have no idea why the Hawks would agree to this trade.

Why don't we see if Frank Kornet or Fred Roberts or Calvin Booth need a little cash? Or perhaps we should send a check to the Geoff Crompton memorial fund?

Larry Drew is sticking it to his old team, lol. When is Horford's contract up? I bet he can't wait to bolt.

It's definitely going to be a close race. I think the last 3 will go to some combination of CLE, WAS, DET and ATL.

I think Atlanta or Detroit will be the odd one out. Cleveland and Washington will be in for sure barring injury, which isn't a given for either.

If Wall & Kyrie stay healthy, no doubt in my mind their teams will be in the playoffs.

When the best player on the team is Greg Monroe or Charlie Villaneuva, you have 0% chance... 29-53 last season, you truly are an idiot Mr. Valid

If Atlanta signs Ellis and trades for Jennings, Ferry should be fired. An overpriced chuck it up and play no D back court is not how you rebuild. You have to try hard to have the Bucks get the better end of trade.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

To be fair, they did just sign Josh Smith. Their backcourt needs a ton of work though. Brandon Knight needs to start playing like a top-5 pick, and less like Kyrie Irving and DeAndre Jordan's whipping boy.

Josh Smith can't shoot.. Pistons have no one to space the floor for him- I'm pretty sure Josh Smith is not going to improve a 29-53 team to a playoff team... Not even LeBron could help the Pistons
