The Boston Celtics have hired Micah Shrewsberry as an assistant coach, according to a sources with knowledge of the situation.

Shrewsberry spent four years under Brad Stevens at Butler, before joining the Purdue staff in 2011.

Stevens is also expected to hire an experienced lead assistant, with league sources indicating Ron Adams is being considered for that position.

Adams was let go from the Bulls this offseason.

Sheeit, I was hoping that Adams would go out West, like maybe join Doc Rivers or back to OKC or something, so he wouldn't come back and haunt the Bulls at least 3-4 times a year. I still can't believe Gar is such a deek head! Sorry for the rant.
