This one is a lot more fair than a 4 Year 60 deal. But I still don't know if he's worth it. I guess if he doesn't get injured he could become an all star center at some point in his career.

I sure wish I was big and tall with just a bit of skill... All you need to be overpaid in the NBA apparently. For T'wolves sake, I hope this guy ends up living up to his contract.

I'm cool with it since they can still sign Rubio for 5 years.

You obviously haven't watched him play much. He is very skilled.

The best Euroleague C for years and I believe I am not wrong If I say: one of the most skilled centers in the NBA right now.

Very happy for Pek.

This is a fair contract. Glad both sides came to an agreement. Pekovic never deserved 60M over four years like kevin love, roy hibbert, marc gasol and brook lopez. However his new deal matched the annual cap hits that Joakim Noah, Al Horford and serge Ibaka got on their first big contract extensions before they became all star calibre players. Now Pekovic and the timberwolves can focus on making the playoffs for the first time in a decade. Last time wolves made the postseason was with garnett in 2004.

the dudes been pretty good the last couple years. his numbers are right up there with many of the better big men in the league. in a league where teams will break the bank for a guy coming off a good playoff series, you could do worse than pekovic for 12 per. at least hes proven himself over time.

If he can be healthy and improves defensively, this is a good deal for both sides.

Huge part of it. Everyone mentioning that he was a Euroleague star should remember that he's no longer playing in the Euroleague. It's great that he can score along with rebound, but scoring only goes so far if your team has a 31-51 record. Need to see more defense from Pek.
