Felton Has Lost 15 Pounds Since End Of Season

Raymond Felton has lost 15 pounds since the end of the New York Knicks' season.

Felton played at approximately 212 pounds last season and is encouraged by his new physique.

"I was quick before, but if you take off 15 pounds, you can be that much quicker," Felton said Sunday.

Felton was out of weight and not physically prepared for the season to start after the lockout in 2011 when he joined the Portland Trail Blazers.

Felton is working with trainer Keith Veney.

He lost 15 pounds? I wonder where he left his bag of cheeseburgers. Supposedly the Knicks own New York, so they shouldn't have a hard time searching for it.

Good for you felton. you can really feel the difference when you lose 15-20 pounds. he will have way more speed and endurance come the reagular season

FINALLY!!!! After hearing Jim Boehim talk about how Melo's second option is JR Smith and Raymond Felton compared to having Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh or Pau Gasol and Dwight (at the time), this gives Felton a chance to return to his 2011 numbers of 17.1 points, 9.0 assists, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.8 steals per game before he was traded away in the Carmelo deal.
