Lamar Odom Arrested On DUI Charge

Lamar Odom was charged Friday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence after he was spotted driving erratically on the 101 Freeway in the San Fernando Valley.

Odom was arrested at 3:54 a.m. and booked into jail at 5:01 a.m., according to jail records.

Police officials said they spotted Odom driving a white Mercedes sports utility vehicle eastbound on the 101 Freeway near Sepulveda Boulevard. The driver was driving in a "serpentine manner" at speeds of about 50 mph.

Odom, an NBA free agent, has been linked by recent reports to drug use and suspicion of hiding.

$116,000,000 in career earnings and too stupid to call a cab.

I honestly won't feel bad for Lamar when he loses all of his money. He's blown his chances and now it is even more certain that no NBA team will sign him. He will have fun w/ the ugly Kardashian plucking into his wallet.

Well at least he's not missing

Serpentine manner is a zig zag... think of a snake on the desert sand.

DUI still usually suggests alcohol... the semantics depends on the state. I don't think marijuana or cocaine would force a driver to zig zag, compared to the weaving caused by alcohol albeit this is still speculation. I wouldn't be surprised if it is a combination of alcohol and some other drug.

Anyways, Odom lived like a king for 13 years and his life is going straight downward now. Hopefully he will find an activity that fits his well being... can't see him being a TV analyst or involved in asst. coaching/advising players role.

clippers already decided to sign antawn jamison. he could "help" the lakers with their lottery chances by playing on the team. no GM wants to screwed over like the mavericks did before.

I never knew leaving L.A. or any city in that matter can have such an impact on a individual. He was never the same ever since get traded away from the Lakers.
