Cameron Jones To Participate In Warriors' Training Camp

Cameron Jones will participate in the Golden State Warriors' training camp.

Jones was the Most Improved Player of the D-League last season while with the Santa Cruz Warriors.

"I think Cam is the best kept secret in the D-League this season," said Kirk Lacob of the Warriors' front office. "He really hasn't gotten his name out there all too much, but he was a first-round draft pick in the NBADL last season."

This is going to be a fun, exciting, competitive training camp especially between Toney Douglas and Nemanja Nedovic for the backup PG minutes, Kent Bazemore and Draymond Green fighting for some minutes in the regular rotation, the physicalness between the bigs with Andrew Bogut, Jermaine O'Neal, Marresse Speights, and David Lee, see how Iguodala fits in with the team, and the development of Curry, Klay, and Barnes.

On top of that, the Warriors signed a non-guaranteed deal with Seth Curry, a partially guaranteed contract with DeWayne Dedmon, and invited Cameron Jones who just had a very solid summer league and played well during his college days and in the D-League. All three will be fighting for a spot on the roster.
