Harrison Barnes is adamant he is not concerned about whether he starts next season for the Golden State Warriors.

"Winning the game matters more to me," Barnes said.

"I can imagine much worse problems. I feel confident about this team and where we can go. Regardless if I'm starting or coming off the bench, I think we have a chance to make a serious playoff push."

Barnes averaged 16.1 points and 6.4 rebounds over the Warriors' two playoff series last season against Denver and San Antonio.

Barnes is expected to play heavy minutes at power forward.

Barnes is going to get 28 or more minutes at the end of the day regardless.

PG: Curry (36) & Douglas (12)
SG: Klay (34) & Iguodala (14)
PF: Lee (36), Speights (8), Barnes/Draymond (4)
SF: Iguodala (20) & Barnes (28)
C: Bogut (24), O'Neal (14), Speights (10)

That's not bad. Heck, I think it's safe to say that this is the best lineup they've had since 2008.

Yea absolutely and credit to Bob Myers, one of the greatest Lakers ever Jerry West, and the rest of the front office for doing a outstanding job over the years drafting and signing solid, good characters basketball players as well as putting together a very well, tough, leader types coaching staff. One thing I like about the roster is that they have guys that know they won't be in the regular rotation or will play a few spot minutes here and there, but will step up if call upon and is fine with that role such as Kent Bazemore, Draymond Green, and especially Festus Ezeli now that Bogut seems healthy and signing both Jermaine O'Neal and Marresse Speights during the offseason.

I think he wants to win more than he wants to start. So.

I wouldn't make a blanket statement like that.

This team is going to be very good, especially if Bogut stays healthy. Barnes and Thompson coming out with these team-first quotes. Hopefully, that'll be consistent throughout the season, but Warriors fans should feel pretty confident about their team right now. Last season they showcased their ability, even with these young guys. They have all the right tools this season.
