Paul George Says He'll Sign Extension With Pacers

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Thu Sep 19, 2013 3:06 pm

Paul George has publicly said he will sign a long-term extension with the Indiana Pacers.

“(A long-term contract) is going to get done,” George said. “There will be a deal signed and sealed on the table before the season. We’re (George and Pacers management) on the same page.”

George would become a restricted free agent next offseason if he doesn't sign an extension.

Get that money Paul George!!!! You already know your hometown is rooting for you and understands the financial aspect of your decision. Maybe in sometime in the future you'll come home to don the purple n gold.

... wait, so he's less likely to get injured if he's in LA? What?

haha, what an uneducated opinion. the lakers have 16 championships and have won them with regularity. the lakers build winners again and again. they are obviously a desirable destination for players. but im sure all thats gonna change now. they had a bad year and this is the beginning of the end. never again will a free agent star don the purple and gold. haha, right...

Not that it's gonna happen, but CP3, Blake, George on one team. Would be ridiculous.

once kobe retires, the lakers will be enticing again with top tier free agents willing to come.
