Magic Placing No Timetable On Return Of Glen Davis

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Sep 24, 2013 6:28 pm

The Orlando Magic do not have a timetable on the return of Glen Davis, who has been recovering from foot surgery.

"He’s progressing on schedule and he is progressing slowly," Rob Hennigan said. "And that’s by design. One thing that we want to make sure of is that when Glen does come back we don’t want him to re-aggravate that foot. So we’re being very cautious and very vigilant in how he is preparing. He is moving along as scheduled but we still don’t have a firm timetable yet to when he will return.’’

Davis was reportedly expected to resume basketball activities by the end of the month.

Davis underwent surgery in July to replace a screw, following up on his initial surgery in January.

Rob Hennigan:

"We don't really have a schedule for Glen Davis's return, but he's meeting the schedule we don't really have."

This seems fair enough to me as a simple undergraduate mathematical analysis statement. The sequence of states of health is converging at the expected rate but the desired epsilon convergence criterion has not been set (i.e. he is getting healthier but they haven't decided what defines healthy enough.)
