Howard Upset Magic Issued No. 12 To Harris

Dwight Howard was upset by the decision made by the Orlando Magic to allow Tobias Harris to wear No. 12, Howard's number with the franchise.

"I just think that despite whatever happened, there was a lot of things that I did and that we did as a team, and that number was special down there," Howard said. "And I was a little bit upset about that."

Howard unlikely knows that Harris wanted to wear No. 12 as a tribute to a close friend who had died of leukemia at the age of 17.

I love how these huge ego NBA players have no problem spitting on a franchise and their fans but then feel disrespected when they aren't still treated like royalty. They're so self centered they truly have no clue that their actions have consequences.

Dwight, if you wanted your Orlando #12 so badly you should have signed and extension and stayed in Orlando.

Just Dwight acting childish again, when he should be entirely focused on basketball and his new team. What does the Magic owe Dwight? They did everything imaginable to keep him and it wasn't good enough. The fans? He always praised Orlando fans as the greatest, but those were just empty words to make them feel better upon his expected departure. Furthermore, he isn't retired or dead, so there are no plans for a ceremony to raise his jersey in Amway. All there is is another pathetic reminder from him that he is the same old self-centered Dwight.
