Execs See Jimmer Fredette Thriving If Dealt To Jazz

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Fri Oct 25, 2013 2:55 pm

Jimmer Fredette has had a slow start to his NBA career, but he did average 18 points per 36 minutes while hitting 41 percent of his three-point shots.

Fredette's minutes were inconsistent last season and the guard position is still crowded for the Sacramento Kings.

Multiple NBA executives told the Salt Lake Tribune that joining the Utah Jazz would make sense for both Fredette and the franchise.

Fredette remains hugely popular in Utah due to his time at BYU, while he would also give the Jazz a needed floor spacer.

I'd love him on the Knicks.

Would give up Udrih for him in an instant. But that wouldn't really make much sense for the Kings.
My lifetime better have a Knicks championship.

He's a solid player.. Sacramento is just pretty much the worst team to get drafted by. They've had horrible coaching the past few years, no good veterans with positive locker room presence and their franchise player is a headcase.

I can't imagine Jimmer's value is too high at the moment. If I'm the kings I'd hold onto him for another season at least to boost his value but who knows more drastic moves have been made so anything's possible.
