Malcolm Thomas will be called up to the San Antonio Spurs.
Thomas has played with the NBA D-League's Los Angeles D-Fenders this season and had gotten off to a strong start.
Thomas was pulled from the D-Fenders' game on Sunday.
Thomas spent parts of last season with the Chicago Bulls and Golden State Warriors.

I never understood why the Bulls were not willing to give Thomas a minimum contract.

I <3 Malcolm Thomas. I hope the Bulls FO ends up feeling bad for waiving him for a mediocre rookie stretch 4. Anyhoo at least he went to a good team like the Spurs.

So basically under the Spurs he's gonna be a beast and have a Gary Neal/Danny Green career resurrection (obviously different positions and styles of play but you know what I mean)

damn.. f-ing Spurs keep reaping from the mistakes of other franchises. If he pans out nicely, they have a nice young core to move on with after the Duncan-Ginobli era.
