Nets Unsure, Hopeful Of Andrei Kirilenko's Timetable

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Fri Dec 13, 2013 5:51 pm

When asked about Andrei Kirilenko's status and potential return, Jason Kidd claimed there was no news.

"There is no update," Kidd said. "Hopefully, sometime in 2013 would be great. But if he comes back in 2014, that would be fine, too."

Kirilenko has missed 18 straight games because of back issues.

Asked if he will return to the Brooklyn Nets soon, Kirilenko said, "I hope so.''

Regardless if he comes back or not the Nets are fortunate enough to be in the Atlantic division - basically a sure thing for the playoffs, regardless of how bad your start is. If DWill and Lopez can stay somewhat healthy they will creep into the last spot. Whether that justifies their roster spending is another question.
