LeBron James Credits Offseason Training For Good Health

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Thu Dec 26, 2013 4:56 am

LeBron James said on Wednesday that he is appreciative of staying healthy and credited the good fortune on pushing himself in the offseason.

"I don't have a key," James said. "I've been fortunate to be healthy. I try to do everything I can as far as strength and conditioning to stay above the curve, I guess. I don't have an answer for it.

"We all know Father Time, whatever the case may be, is undefeated. But you just try to slow it down, I guess."

James and Norris Cole are the only Miami Heat players to appear in all 28 games this season.

"For me, I try to take care of everything I can off the court in the offseason, so when I get into the season, I can just go full steam," he said. "When I do have a bump in the road I'm able to come back from it a little faster than anyone else would or I would, because I've always been able to keep my body right.

"But I don't have a success story or a key to it. I just try to prepare the best that I can."

Who can't you say that about in the NBA?

These are professional athletes, the top .000001% of human kind, even Brian Scalabrine is genetic freak of nature, how many 6'9 people do you see daily?

Even John Stockton is a freak of nature, unimpressive size & athleticism, sure, but what about durability to constantly perform for 19 years & only miss 22 games the entire career?

Sure it could be hard work, a magical incantation, pixie dust from the high elves deep within the forbidden forest.

Clearly something is making you the biggest fastest strongest human being ever.

Scalabrine? Really? Most high school kids would be more productive than him in the NBA...
