Jason Smith will be out indefinitely with a right knee injury, the New Orleans Pelicans announced.

An MRI revealed that Smith has suffered cartilage damage in his right knee.

Smith is averaging 9.7 points, 5.8 rebounds and 0.9 blocks in 31 games this season.

He really is. He's a good player too. His injury history will be a concern this summer during free agency.
