Malcolm Thomas has been claimed off waivers by the Utah Jazz, the team announced on Saturday.

The Jazz's roster now stands at 15 players.

Thomas was waived by the San Antonio Spurs on Jan. 23 after appearing in one game this season, scoring two points, grabbing nine rebounds with two blocks in 15 minutes on Jan. 19.

Can't wait to see him in action...even if that means we sent him to D-League!

I don't think I have ever seen him play, if I did, I don't remember!

The guy has been permanently in the D-League pretty much with the Spurs sending him down then bringing him back up to the team repeatedly

Yo 2 Points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks is pretty good numbers in only 15 minutes of play. wit 20 plus minutes per night I think he will be alright

He can average similar stats to Faried if given opportunity, but Thomas is way better defender than Kenneth.

Not many guys average what Faried averages. That's like saying OJ Mayo can average what Jordan averaged...

If he was a better defender then Faried he wouldnt be playing in the D league and cut by the spurs
