Luke Babbitt Signs With Pelicans

Luke Babbitt has signed with the New Orleans Pelicans.
Babbit spent part of this season with Nizhny Novgorod of Russia, averaging 13.3 points and 3.7 rebounds in 18 games.
Babbitt has appeared in 126 games for the Portland Trail Blazers and holds career averages of 3.8 points and 2.1 rebounds.
The Pelicans' roster now stands at 15.

A former first rounder. He had the chance last year to prove he belongs in this league, but did nothing on a Blazers bench as thin as ice...

This might be his last chance to prove that he belongs in the league and considering Aminu is nothing special, Ryan Anderson might be done for the season, and Tyreke is better suited at SG than SF, this is a great opportunity for Babbitt to show that he belongs on a NBA roster playing the PF/SF position.

Pelicans signing big men who suck and can only shoot.
This one not that big, and doesn't do much other than shoot.
Thought that Portland would have at least given him a minimum deal offer.
