Rockets Acquire Jordan Hamilton From Nuggets

The Houston Rockets have acquired Jordan Hamilton for Aaron Brooks in a trade with the Denver Nuggets, a league source tells Shams Charania of RealGM.

why would the rockets do this? Beverly gets hurt every no and then and Lin is a good scoring guard but he can't run the team full time. Brooks was a very good 3rd string option and has always been pretty loyal to Houston.

think this was a bad trade, a trade just for the sake of making a trade.

that's why mchale is so pissed
he mentioned the one wanted trade stay and the one wanted stay got traded

i know morey been searching for defensive wing (brewer can't do it anymore)
but hamilton?

news we hear two wanted to get trade is asik and motiejunas because of playing time
motiejunas improved and getting his playing time now
i'm not sure if casspi is happy now
since garcia return from injured
casspi lost both his backup pf and sf min

But I guess Brooks agreed to this deal, since he had a no-trade clause. For more minutes, I guess. Also, probably because he's sick of being called "Crazy Legs" by Howard. He'd been getting little minutes since both Bev and Lin have been healthy. Also, I guess Canaan will get called up from the D-league permanently. Makes sense.

Rockets better give some good playing time to Hamilton. He is a good backup wing player.

Houston needs help on the wing. They don't have much depth at SG/SF.
