J.J. Barea admitted he is pleased with remaining with the Minnesota Timberwolves past the NBA trade deadline on Thursday.
"You never really want to get traded," Barea said. "I think I’m in a good situation here, and I think we have a good group of guys with a good staff."
Barea heard of the trade speculation surrounding his name but said he did not worry about the rumors.
"It’s not really that big of a deal," he said. "Maybe a little bit because you have to listen to people ask you about it, but other than that it’s no big deal."
