Nene To Receive MRI Monday On Apparent Knee Sprain

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon Feb 24, 2014 5:29 am

Nene suffered a left knee injury in Sunday night's win over the Cleveland Cavaliers and will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of the ailment.

Nene's Washington Wizards teammates hoped for the best.

“It’s too early to say, but we’re all scared. We’re hoping it’s nothing serious,” Marcin Gortat said. “It was really hard. But we’ve seen that if we play good defense, if everybody is engaged and locked in, we are a good team. We kind of forgot that Nene was missing, and we’re glad we got that win.”

Nene is averaging 14.4 points and 5.8 rebounds this season.

This would suck if he's out. Every time I think Wash has it together & is gonna go on a run, they loose 2-3 in a row. They're .500 now right? 28-28 I think. Hopefully if Nene's healthy they make a little push & end up > .500 lol.

obviously Ind & Mia end up over .500. I think Tor, Wash, Chi, Bk all finish above .500 too. That's at least 6 over lol maybe it won't go down in history as the worst conference ever.
