John Brown of High Point has been named the Big South Player of the Year. Brown was Big South Freshman of the Year last season and increased his points per game from 16.4 to 19.5 as a sophomore.
Brown was joined on the All-Big South First Team by D.J. Covington, Rodney Glasgow, Javonte Green and Andrew Rosey.
Rowsey also was named Big South Freshman of the Year, while Covington received Defensive Player of the Year honors.
On the All-Big South Second Team are D.J. Cunningham, Warren Gillis, Jerome Hill, Jaron Lane and Q.J. Peterson.
Joining Rowsey on the Big South All-Freshman Team are Peterson, Keon Johnson, Tyrell Nelson and Elijah Wilson.
