Money talks, and not sure if his value will get any higher than it is. He's pretty well known with the GM's.

Hopefully a better rookie campaign for him and Wiggins than it was for Bennett...

I think he should be a backup for a couple of years and then see how he progresses from there.

How is he anything like Rivers? He is a point gaurd, not a volume scorer.
And why wouldnt you enter a draft where you were gurantueed a top 10 pick

Why? Right now he's a lottery pick. Next year he's a second rounder. Scouts don't like his lack of athleticism and he's a year older next year. On top of that, he has more competition this year. This year, he might even be the first point guard picked.

Da fuq? Comparing Rivers to Ennis is like comparing Blake Griffin to Kevin Love. They're nothing alike.

Great move for him when he is guaranteed a first round selection. Another year and scouts can pick apart his game more which is something you don't want. On top of that, not a lot of great point guards this year which moves him up in draft ranking. I don't think his lack of athleticism will affect him, he has a high basketball IQ. If I had to compare him to one really good PG right now I would say Tony Parker. I think there are facets of his game that we have not seen yet. A guy who can play without athleticism has a longer career then a guy that relies on that. Great Decision!
