I feel like he's rushing back. I know he's a tough dude and playoffs are around the corner but he should take it slow. Needs to think of the long run vs short term.

Good! I'm happy for him. People that don't like Pat Beverley don't like good basketball.

Glad things worked out for the kid. He can play the game and surely has a place in this league. He may not be popular due to the Russell W. incident, but just entering the league and staying there was already his first win with karma. This break over his leg diagnostics is win#2. Do keep taking care of your family and friends so you can win more break. Good luck with getting back and staying healthy.

He's going to get injured again. He's rushing back too fast.

I can understand how people think he's rushin back to fast. However, the fact hes not nor will not be a future 'star or superstar' player goes a long way with this decision, its his time to shine. This is the benefit of young people when concerning teams, sides ect, think about it why the hell does the militaries across the world recruit young, or prefer to, cuz of their mindset, and beverly wants back in the mix asap,

If he comes back, it should be no sooner than the playoffs, and probably no sooner than a game or two into the first round. We won't need him against Portland or GS, but we will against San Antonio.

Damn. Was hoping Jeremy Lin would finally get a chance to start and show he is still a star player. Beverley's defense is great, no doubt that, but there is NO WAY you start him over a former star like Jeremy Lin. Don't understand this team's management of Lin and Asik, both of which are good enough to start but have somehow been relegated to the bench.

LOL
"We're like Tim Duncan and David Robinson," Villanueva said, following the team's morning shootaround at the America West Arena. "But a younger version. I really feel that."

there is value in playing defense which lin doesn't do much of.

as for asik, they should have traded him away after getting dwight...that's on daryl morey.

Yes but Beverley barely has any offence. I'd rather have scoring over defense. Ultimately, the goal in basketball is to score after all. And Asik and Dwight can start together, I'm not sure why they didn't give that more of a try. Instead of "small ball" it would be "big ball" and give other teams problems trying to defend the both in the post.
