Too early to tell. Perhaps Klay Thompson will become a poor man's Nik Stauskas.

You're crazy... klay thompson is elite on both ends. Averaging 18+3+3 42% from deep on a 50 win team.

Don't think Stauskas will ever be that good, but you never know.

Not sure how high his upside is but at min I think he will be a guy who plays in the league for a while as an outside shooter. For a team drafting him you have to decide if that is worth a high pick though.

I actually think Stauskas was the better college player. Klay is not the worst comparison in the world. It helps Klay shares backcourt with STeph Curry, takes a ton of pressure off him.

Klay Thompson is ELITE on both ends ? That's a RIDICULOUS statement. You must be a Warriors fan.

You clearly don't watch any warriors games /or don't have a clue that GSW are the 3rd best defensive team in the league this year and #1 in west. Klay plays big part of it usually guarding their best perimeter players. (Westbrook, Parker etc)

Name 5 better sgs than klay.

Good for him , so he is a good defensive player , I still don't think he is on Tony Allen's level.

Even if he is ELITE on defense like you claim he is , he is no where close to elite on offense , you are crazy if you think that.

SG is a very thin position so being top 5 doesnt really mean much , nice try though.

You're funny, how he's not an elite mid-range 3pt specialist, tell me how?

I agree he's not a lockdown defender like iggy or tonny allen, but he's pretty good.

Dwade, harden, derozan, lance and klay are my top 5 sgs dis year.

LOL

Ok so you agree he is a pretty good defensive player and not elite , glad we got that out of the way.

So now you are saying he is an elite 3pt and midrange specialict and not just elite offensive player ? Lol , there is a big difference... Steve Novak is an elite 3-point shooter but he is not that great of an offensive player.

Thompson is a good offensive player but he is not great . Sure he is a great shooter , call him elite at that if you want but he can't break down his defender and be the main offensive option. Elite on offense is someone like James Harden and Thompson is nowhere close to that.

George is a sf.
Kobe is injured
Ellis is worse and so is afflalo, who's averaging same numbers on a terrible team, nice try though.

Thomson is an average defender
Ellis a way better playmaker and a better scorer
Afflalo is a better playmaker and better defender.
Its easier to score on a good team when you are a role player. Thomson doesnt have to struggle to find his shot. He gets 6.5 attempts from 3 because he plays on a team filled with excellent passers. Curry, Igoudala and Lee are among the best passers at their positions. 95% of Klay's 3 pointers are assisted, and 62% of his field goals. You could argue he is a better role player for a championship team, but he is definetely not a better player overall

Toronto bound with a 20 something pick?
On Gerald Henderson vs Derozan:
"Yes. Hendo is quite a bit better than DeMar.
So yes, I do believe he's currently the better player and do project that will continue to be in the future. I would also take Turner over DD."
