Back in 09 it was always great fun watching JVG commentate SVG's Orlando games and I remember the Magic were jacking up a hell of a lot of threes during those times. I think he would be a good pickup for the Dubs

Best coach Orlando ever had (IMO). Also, his interactions with the press will be entertaining to say the least.

Yeah, I think SVG is one of those coaches worth keeping in the league. I love the input by newbies like Stevens or when ACs get their first head coaching gig. But I feel SVG has a lot left in the tank. Same goes for Hollins btw.
I've come to the conclusion that most folks don't really care that you broke one of the rules... they just enjoy telling you that you broke it.

This guy's name literally came out of nowhere once Jackson got fired lol. Don't get me wrong he's a great coach, but where has he been over the past few years? Some NBA team should have snatched him up for at least an assistant gig... but knowing Stan, he probably wouldn't flinch for anything less than a HC role. And he's right to think that way.

He's been taking a break and focusing on his family. Whenever he wants to come back he'll be a top name on the market no ways he's an assistant

Warriors are now a top 3 defensive team in the West.
No way will they have a coach that runs a run and gun 7 seconds or less offense. Not a fan of having to be super quick in transition defense as well as offense. His offense is the reason why he runs stars into the ground.

I'll keep saying it: get Sloan in here. This team is ready to adapt to his demand for discipline, they would excel off his movement-based, back-cutting offense, and his defensive acumen would not let them falter on that end of the floor, either. Also, there's no D-Will on G State

Well of course he can get a job as a head coach, but should he? Success comes in part from knowing your own limitations. He might be the best assistant coach ever so what would be wrong with that?

Because NBA teams are generally known for making good decisions, right ?
That's why Mike Brown is still a HC, right ?
That's why McFail still has a job after, well, failing miserably, right ?
That why even in Orlando SVG was only a fall back choice after Donovan (IIRC) refused them, right ?

it doesn't matter who coaches the Warriors. As long as they don't have a low post threat, some depth especially at point guard, and don't get serious in playing defense, the Warriors will still be a 2nd round playoff team at best. no offense to the Warriors team and fans, Curry is a heck, i mean a heck of a player and shooter same as Thompson who are both very young and have a great future ahead of them. The one problem the Warriors would wish to avoid is an injury to Curry. the guy plays so hard every game and his body can only take so much.
