What's going on with Meyers Leonard? Did they gave up on the guy?

Yeah. He was atrocious from what I've heard. Like not even backup material. You'd think he'd at least be serviceable with that athleticism.

Hells yeah, the Kaveman! I'm beginning to gain confidence in Neil Olshey. Kaman is much undervalued and I was hoping they would bring him in last year before they picked up Lopez.

Curious? Yes. Interested? Maybe, depending on what the Trail Blazers want for him.

There's another team to mark off of the Greg Monroe trail. No Pelicans because of Asik, No Hawks because of Sefolosha, and no Blazers because of Kaman. That leaves the Hornets, Magic, Suns, and Lakers as teams that could steal him outright without a sign and trade. Fingers crossed the Pistons can keep him.

Strengths: Athleticism and range for a 7'1" C...thats it.

Weaknesses: BBall IQ, anything defensively, post moves, really just about anything else. He is literally lost out there. If we were still rebuilding, maybe in a few years he could have some sort of impact...but he is literally years away.

Even though the Blazers were a team that was listed as an interest, they would not have been able to get him anyways.

Yea he was pretty bad while he got garbage time and always tried doing too much. This led to fouls within a minute of entering the game. He is only 22 though and hasn't played organized ball much. He's a late bloomer, we just have to ride out this terrible part of his growth.

NeO knows what he's doing. You never sell low and Leonard is bound to get better no matter how big/small of an improvement. At least he's putting in work this summer and that's all you can really ask for.

And Jazz. Don't know that we'd do it, but we have the cap space.

It would be a great signing if he could stay healthy, but I'm really skeptical about it. RoLo desperately needs a decent backup - Freeland and Leonard sure weren't...

Kaman is easily worth 5 mil per. Those of you who cite his 3 mil 1yr deal with the lakers should note that that came as a surprise signing and that he took less than market value in doing so. How many back to the basket C's are there left? He has excellent post foot work and he is a cerebral player. I was hoping the Pacers or Hawks picked him up. We need centers in the east.

Hawks can still make an offer to Monroe, even if it's not the Max (is he worth that ?), it's almost Max
If Salmons is waived, they have between 12.5M (keep Q.O. of Mack and Scott and Sefolosha decreasing contract) and 14.1M (renounce Q.O. and Sefolosha increasing contract) to start an offer.
