Kevin Love Willing To Commit Long-Term To Cavs If Traded

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Fri Jul 11, 2014 5:26 pm

Kevin Love is "intrigued" by the possibility of joining LeBron James with the Cleveland Cavaliers and would commit long-term if traded.

Love is seeking a trade this offseason ahead of his 2015 free agency.

Possibly, but he's still better than Bosh at the 4.

Would Lebron let the Cavs trade Wiggins to get Love? I would hope not. A different RealGM headline indicates that the Cavs are offering Bennett, Waiters, and a first rounder. Love wants to play for the Cavs, and he might even be willing to wait a year in order to do so. Minn should take what the Cavs are offering instead of risking losing him for nothing.

Better at stat padding? Bosh is a much better low post player and defender. If Love is that good how many playoff games has he been in?

Im on the fence with this Overrated talk.

If Love is Overrated, Was Garnett Overrated when he was a Twolve?

Garnett never got out of 1st round 8 years straight.

Wiggins is gone. At least he can play with LaVine and Rubio.

Childish talks. You'd want a team that can win is all that matters.

I don't know if I would give up my assets like that or too much. You need a bench to win a championship and especially if you face the Spurs as we've seen. Cavs are looking deep already, I wouldn't want to give up anything. They got LeBron, they already won, don't get too greedy.....

If the Cavs manage to get Love, then what would that say about LBJ? Sure, he has no *actual* part as to how management deals with their roster, but it just seems like it would hurt LBJ's legacy, if anything. I'd rather just have him with Irving and a bunch of good role players. I want to see him win with a team that actually plays like a legitimate team with one leader. I want to see how he can play with a team that isn't studded with stars.

All the crap about Love or Kyrie not being good because they're teams didn't make the playoffs is garbage. Carmello's team didn't make the playoffs last year. Plenty of great players have missed the playoffs. Lebron missed the playoffs before. It's a team sport. You can't blame the success of a team or lack there of on one player only.

Personally I think Mike Brown and his preference for veterans and horrible offensive schemes (due to his defense) held back some of the Cavs youngsters. They could all get better with teachers of the game like Blatt and Lue (not to mention Lebron).

Also, the Cavs have told Wiggins and his agent that they aren't dealing him for anybody. I bet it holds true.
Kyrie most of the time when he shoots starts with the ball and then dribbles a while then shoots. -statistical analysis from a 'longtime' Cavs fan (June 2017)
