Hornets Agree To Sign Marvin Williams To Two-Year, $14M Contract

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sun Jul 13, 2014 1:40 am

Marvin Williams has agreed upon a two-year, $14 million contract with the Charlotte Hornets.

Williams played collegiately a few hours away at North Carolina.

Williams was most recently with the Utah Jazz.

The Hornets turned their attention upon Williams after the Jazz matched their offer sheet to Gordon Hayward.

Jordan. You failed. Signed a guy who probably isnt good enough to beat out MKG yet makes that much, while losing McRoberts? :banghead:
Peja, Iverson, CP3, T-Mac, Starks, Artest. Will never get over how the 01-02 Kings got cheated by the refs.

The new NBA, where a PER of 13 and zero above average skills gets you $7m per year (and people nod their heads and say 'pretty good deal').

Yeah, not getting this at all. He may have been worth that like 3 or 5 years ago but he's really declined and I don't get what value he adds to that mediocre production to be worth more than about 3m per year, if that. Worst overpay of the off-season so far? Or is that still Ben Gordon.
