Chris Andersen Agrees To Re-Sign With Heat After Late Push From Knicks

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon Jul 14, 2014 12:46 am

Chris Andersen has agreed to re-sign with the Miami Heat on a multiyear deal.

The New York Knicks made a late push to sign Andersen, but he decided to remain with the club that helped him salvage his career.

Andersen played in nearly 20 minutes per game last season for the Heat.

Oh thank god. This guy would have been horrible in triangle offense. Cant finish unless its a dunk also

Aldrich is better and improving
Peja, Iverson, CP3, T-Mac, Starks, Artest. Will never get over how the 01-02 Kings got cheated by the refs.

Napier/Rio/Cole
Wade/Ennis
Deng/Granger
McRoberts/Haslem
Bosh/Birdman

Top 6 in the east easily. Maybe top 4.

Um, I think you mean Southeast.

No way that lineup is better than Cleveland, Indiana, Chicago or Washington, for that matter
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

Where does Carlos Boozer fit in the mix ... he should be signing by the end of the week after his Wednesday amnesty? Is he in front of McRoberts or behind him?

I'm not sure that team can even compete with the bottom end in the East, let alone be in the top 4.

He's a poor man's Dennis Rodman and follows direction pretty well. I think he would of been OK on the team.

I'm pretty sure that team assembled with the coaching in place is ahead of the Pistons, bucks, sixers, nets, knicks, magic, bobcats, celtics and hawks. Easily a top 6 team, dunno about top 4. Time will tell if Bosh can go back to being a #1 guy.

Heat aren't even looking that bad. Wade playing 60-70 games & Bosh being a 20/8+ player would definitely make them a top 6 team in the East. 45-48 wins, imo.
