Jameer Nelson To Meet With Mavs

The Dallas Mavericks will meet with Jameer Nelson On Thursday.

The Mavericks still have their $2.7 million room exception to offer to Nelson and are hopeful of being able to complete a deal.

The Mavericks are continuing to look for another veteran point guard.

Nice, Dallas always seems to build a great team after missing out on major superstars...Howard last year, Carmelo this year. They will be a dangerous team yet again.

Not bad for Mavs cause lord knows Felton isn't enough. I still see the Heat making a run at Nelson too

Rick Carlisle must have just realized that they traded for Felton....damn, I wanted Nelson on my Knicks.

How would he fit in with Chalmers/Cole/Napier? Unless they plan on moving one or more of those guys...

They're not sure about Marion returning yet bud, but you're correct that would be a nice looking team.

I see Nelson giving them depth and experience.. Chalmers and Cole are unproven as distributors due to the fact that Lebron handled most of that workload.. I can see Chalmers and Nelson splitting time at the point.. Cole backing up Wade and Napier still needs to develop he plays too sporadic and still has a lot to learn

interesting pickup. im excited to see his pick n rolls with dirk. him and dwights pick n rolls were pretty effective and dwight only rolls to the basket since he cant pick and pop. if marion stays, the mavericks could be scary.
