Omri Casspi Interested In Returning To Kings

Omri Casspi is expected to become a free agent once he is waived by the New Orleans Pelicans.

Casspi played for the Houston Rockets this past season.

“My agent (Dan Fegan) is talking with a number of teams, and the Kings are one of them," said Casspi. "Couldn’t they use a stretch forward who can hit a three and loves to run? I think I could help, and it would be fun to play with Rudy (Gay), DeMarcus (Cousins), J.T. I still have a lot of friends there. I would love to come back and fulfill my path. But now I have to concentrate on the national team, and maybe, I can get some of this pressure off my chest.”

How exactly is playing for Sacramento better than playing for New Orleans, who last time I checked did not have a natural starting SF?

Reality set in, Tyreke was definitely the bigger prospect. I was expecting him to tear it up for years after he had an amazing rookie campaign. Kind of just fell off...injuries, etc.

These guys can ball, the issue is the system and players around them.
I hate comparing them to other Overseas players, but if he were on a team like the Spurs he would thrive
