Ray Allen is leaning toward playing one more NBA season and signing with the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to a source.

Allen would join former Miami Heat teammate LeBron James on the Cavaliers.

Allen averaged 9.6 points in his 18th NBA year last season.

Why would he settle for anything less? He's not playing just for a paycheck anymore, it's about just winning at 39 years old.

Still riding Lebron's nuts. No wonder KG and Pierce disowned him.

So…

A) allen is in love with lebron or

B) is becoming an embarrassing ring chaser?

I'd respect him more if he stayed with miami. They're built for another playoff run, and he's still a productive player. Bleh.

Cavs will end up short this coming season...if he is expecting a ring before he exits...he will be disappointed.

Both were better than him so it makes sense he would ride coat tails.

Yeah, I get it, you think it's not a good thing, but I'll ask you again... how so? Yeah, I see that you're avoiding telling me just like anyone else I've questioned. But there's no shame of not responding to me me since I already know your criticism is invalid and illogical. In fact, I expect it.

For as good as Kobe was in his career, I never saw guys flocking to play with the Lakers during Kobe's prime the same way guys are following LeBron around. The closest or best one Kobe had was Artest and he only mainly went to the Lakers cause they offered him most money.

Not saying that this means LeBron is better than Kobe. However it does show that LeBron has a much better PERSONALITY than Kobe. LeBron's competitive spirit makes players want to team up with LeBron and dominate the NBA where as Kobe's competitive spirit drives players away from Kobe and makes those players want to team up among themselves to dominate Kobe.

Self respect is a thing of the past. I could understand riding coat tails if this team was a lock to win, but I don't think they could beat Miami in a playoff series right now So that leaves no chance of beating a Western team.

What a shameful frontrunner. Desperately following someone from team to team after you lost to him on the team that got you a title.

You are pathetic Ray Allen.

Because he has a "if you can't beat them, join them" attitude and it's pathetic. He wouldn't be joining that team without James and to lose to a team in a heated 7 game series and then to join the opposite team for less money is downright shameful, pathetic, and dishonorable.
