Toure' Murry Close To Two-Year, $2M Deal With Jazz

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Thu Aug 14, 2014 2:57 am

Toure' Murry is close to a two-year, $2 million deal with the Utah Jazz, according to sources.

The New York Knicks have been trying this month to convince Murry to hold off on signing elsewhere as they try to sort out their roster. Murry has also received interest from the Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers.

Murry averaged 2.7 points and 1 assist in 7.3 minutes per game last season for the Knicks.

Why would the Knicks wanna hold off to re-sign him? They already have 16 guys, none of which that I can believe they would want to cut which means they must be planning more trades.

Calderon, Prigioni, Larkin
Smith, Shumpert, Hardaway
Anthony, Early, Antetokounmpo
Stoudemire, Bargnani, Acy, Outlaw
Dalembert, Smith, Aldrich

The only player from this list that (to my knowledge) doesn't have a guaranteed contract is Antetokounmpo and I get the feeling they want to keep him. Or maybe he already signed a rookie deal and I missed out on that? They did say that Prigioni was being put in trade scenarios but that was before the Kings trade.
DUHON to others as they DUHON to you.
