Steve Nash injured his back carrying bags Wednesday, forcing him to miss practice for the third straight day. 

Nash has long had back issues, but he's successfully managed them for most of his career. 

Nash appeared in just 15 games last season.

Nash should medically retire.. He still get his money whih he said was the main reason he was playing this year.. He's had a Hall of Fame career but unfortantley is body isn't going to hold up threw the season.. If anything be an assistant coach.. Work with Jordan Crawford and the young guys..

Can't blame Steve Nash for getting every penny he can possibly can before his body tells him it's time to hang it up.

He's finished, actually 2 years ago.

it's sad the final 2 years of his career are very similar to how Shaq went out. I don't like remembering Shaq with the Celtics, and I don't like remembering Nash's career with the Lakers.

Ill have more respect for Steve if he medically retires than decides to play this season. Other than a paycheque, what is he going to accomplish this season?

Such an embarrassing way to get injured though, I always hate admitting "I jacked up my back getting out of bed" or something ridiculous. But once your back is damage it is damaged.

Steve is at the end of his career, and he has a bad back... he should retire but I would take every penny owed me. I don't even blame him, and can't even be mad.

Well as far as I know, if he medically retires, he gets his money and improves chances of long term health of his back.
