Brook Lopez Out 10-14 Days With Foot Sprain

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Fri Oct 17, 2014 2:13 am

Brook Lopez sustained a mild right midfoot sprain in the first quarter of the Brooklyn Nets’ preseason contest against Sacramento on October 15th.

"Brook Lopez experienced right foot soreness after being stepped on during the pre-season game against the Kings Wednesday night," said Billy King. "X-ray and CT scan studies done Thursday in New York reveal no fractures or bone injuries. Brook has been diagnosed with a mild midfoot sprain and is likely to be out for approximately 10-14 days."

Yeah, right? Who would have thought that Vucevic would have been the best Center in that trade? At least this quickly. Boy did the Sixers get boned on that deal.
Go Knicks!

Just like I said. As much as I like Lopez, big men and foot injuries don't mix. If he isn't careful, he could put his career in danger. He is already in serious danger of not meeting his potential due to injuries sadly...

Wasn't his stress fracture injury a couple years initially "just a sprain"?

It sucks but Lopez is turning into Yao Ming pretty damn quick.

Lopez doesn't have nearly the finesse Yao had around the rim but the injury part is dead on.
