Paul George Shoots Jumpers At Pacers' Practice

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Oct 21, 2014 2:57 am

Paul George was seen shooting jumpers with teammates following the Indiana Pacers' practice on Monday.

George, who was injured during a televised Team USA intrasquad scrimmage on Aug. 1, said recently that he plans to play at some point during this NBA season.

He was cleared to put weight on the leg and engage in upper-body work in late September.

Awesome George is recovering.

That injury looked bad.

You have got to root for a player that got injured supporting his country with Team USA.

If you watch the video on ESPN, you'll see - PG was not shooting jumpers. He was shooting set shots on the perimeter and had a coach tossing back rebounds. He moved one step left or right and then put up a set shot.

BIG difference from launching and landing on a recently broken leg.

He better not rush back from that injury. The Pacers got to be wise enough to tell him to sit out the season. They'll have a down year and bounce back next with a rejuvenated Paul George and hopefully a solid lottery pick. No reason to ruin that by bringing George back to either chase a 1st round exit or risking him re-injurying his knee again.

Ya even If he makes a fast recovery he should just sit out the season to be on he safe side. Pacers aint gonna make no noise this season so it makes no sense rushing to come back
