The Detroit Pistons announced today that the team has assigned forward Tony Mitchell to the team’s NBA Development League affiliate, the Grand Rapids Drive.
Mitchell, drafted 37th overall in the 2013 NBA Draft, appeared in 21 games for the Pistons last season averaging 1.0 points and 1.2 rebounds per game.
