WTF. Did he give Cousins meningitis? That's the only reason I can think you fire the guy they were looking pretty good when he had his star player I thought Hard to make chick salad out of chicken shat when he's out.

not sure exactly why the Kings think Ty Corbin is a better coach....majority of the Jazz fans do not miss him...

I thought Mike Malone did pretty good having his best player out for 9 games  Kings ownership is nuts..

This is like the best the Kings have been in a long time and they fire the coach? wut?

Did they decide they'd rather tank than be competitive? Whatever, I guess they wanted to throw in the towel.

This is why I have remained a fan of Cousins, and not that organization. Full of stupid smallball wannabes who have never won anything and don't know the game. They were probably playing too much defense and rebounding too well, so steps had to be taken to reinstitute softness as soon as possible.

Dumbest front office in the league. Unbelievable. Malone got them to play defense for the first time in 2 decades and they fire him. 9-5 record with healthy Cousins.

Wow!!! The kings have their best start in years and they go and fire the coach !! that's just mind boggling by far the worst move in 2014

The Kings are beyond reason. Every decision that front office makes is unusual. The team was over-performing and they fire the coach because they wanted a team constructed around Gay/Cousins to "run more." Huh?

I don't feel bad for Mike Malone though. He's gotten out of that mad house a few mil richer, and may find himself a better job at some point.

Like others have said, why? 11-13 in the West when your best player has missed 10 games is pretty good. There has to be something we don't know.

I think its because Mike Malone didn't run the cherry pick defense. 4 guys on defence, 1 guy standing at half court.

That Kings Owner is just straight up crazy and has no idea, how basketball works. He just wanted to buy himself a toy, and he wants to be a day to day decision maker. Well guess what, If you dont know ish about bball, you wont win anything. Let the people who know their stuff make the decisions. Cant wait to see him talking about winning a championship and say hi to the fans in India again lol.
Kings Franchise is a Joke, I almost feel bad for their fans.

And last night I was having a conversation with a stranger in the middle of the street about how Malone was making something out of the mess the Kings have been for years AND with Cousins out 10+ games. This is so stupid and lacks sense. I wish Malone the best, I have been rooting for the Kings the past season and this one I hope they make some noise.

Lol I can't with the Kings. They over analyze everything. Malone gone? Foolish.

But the real issue here is Ty Corbin?! As the infamous lint roller from Toronto says.. "WORST!"

This man will ruin the Kings season. Please make him intern. Wow Kings are stupid.

Once again the Kings owners are trying to be the Warriors.

lol just lol. can't help but wonder if this is about the usage of stauskas, whose minutes have gone up significantly in the past week. vivek can't swallow the fact that he made his "yes-men" draft him with the 8th overall pick. kid certainly can't contribute yet. maybe one day he can develop into a korver-esque catch n shoot player. but for now he's a 5 PER player who can't shoot a lick against NBA-level defense. he should probably make some more videos of him making 91/100 3s or whatever in his backyard.

Coach Malone did a great job. It's great to have involved owners. But there's a line. They shouldn't be crossing it. This move guarantees the Kings don't make the playoff. One more year of unhappy cousins.

This also runs the risk of the disaster that would pile up should a losing streak start.
