Pelicans Committed To Keeping Tyreke Evans

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Dec 16, 2014 3:35 am

The New Orleans Pelicans have received trade interest in Tyreke Evans, but a source indicates they're committed to keeping him.

Evans was acquired in a sign-and-trade deal in the 2013 offseason.

The Pelicans have been very happy with the play of Evans this season.

He's been having some amazing games. If he can keep it up consistently, he's one of the best in the league.

The way he has been playing this season, they'd wanna keep him. It's been a great turn arouind for him. He looked gone last season
Sometimes a player's greatest challenge is coming to grips with his role on the team

the fourth NBA player in history to ever average at least 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in his rookie year, joining Oscar Robertson (1960–61), Michael Jordan (1984-85) and LeBron James (2003–04)

now 5 years later... not even a fraction of the success of those 3. Still hasn't attained the success of his first season and more of a 3rd option than a first.

Oh well

Yes he has been rather disappointing to say the least. I dont know if its something wrong with him mentally or what.

Rookie year he played PG. He hasn't played PG since.
