Jabari Parker has a torn ACL and is expected to miss the rest of the season.

Tough loss or the Bucks, tough loss for the rookie race. Hopefully it's only one season thing and doesn't drag out for the rest of his career.

Is it just me or is it ever since Rose went down with that injury that torn ACLs are happening a lot more often?

Jabari's been my favorite rookie to watch thus far. Sucks to hear this, and hope it's not a reoccurring injury in coming years. The Bucks will be a force in a few years if Jabari stays healthy, and I'd love to see that.

The Bucks franchise cant seem to catch a break. They should start tanking as well get another top 5 pick this time aim for a big man thats more reliable than Sanders.

acl tears have always been a problem in the NBA even before rose

Well imo I think the nba has to look more into the field of injury prevention and players also have to more to take care of their bodies. The kid jabari wasnt really in great shape if you ask me. You could argue that it's his body type, but he had at least 15 to 20 pounds of excess weight, just look at his arms and face.

Also looking at drose when he got hurt he had a terrific looking body from the outside (no homo), but he had been wearing knee and ankle braces virtually all season and had issues with his body that had not been taken care of properly.

I just think that the connection between flat feet, valgus knees, hip and ankle mobility and then of course the injuries that result from that is something players should be aware of so that they can take care of their bodies on a deeper level and MAYBE prevent some of those injuries

That just sucks for everyone. I feel for him, kind of for the Bucks, and NBA fans. He was a lot of fun to watch at this level (and locally before). Get well soon, Jabari!
