The Torono Raptors may have given a sneak peek of their new logo in a 30-second "We The North" ad that was released on Friday.

The Raptors will have new uniforms next season.

they need to change the team name. Jurrasic park was so long ago and Toronto has nothing to do with Raptors.

I don't know how I feel about this. If they go with that logo they would to change the court to black colors. Seems very similar to Brooklyn. I liked the red and purple.

OMG it's just like the Brooklyn logo - the claw is sick, why change it to something worse?

we all grew up with the Dinosaur - no one under 35 hates our name or logo in this city - it's part of our culture now.

Not that I disagree with your overall point, but those aren't exactly great examples--- every single one of those names had very much to do with their original cities. They just didn't change them after moving, which is a different discussion altogether.

Um, it most certainly is a Brooklyn Nets ripoff. Why? Because they were playing the Brooklyn Nets that night. Plus the whole **** Brooklyn stuff from the playoffs.

This isn't the new logo - that's baseless speculation. It's just something fun they did for Drake Night.

Let's hope this one dies fast.

What a horrible idea that looks way too similar to the Nets. They should have just made their original logo in gold.
